AGIBOT Deploys More Than 300 Robots Across Chimelong Theme Park

What changed

AGIBOT and Chimelong Group launched the first phase of a large scale embodied AI deployment at Chimelong Spaceship Park in Zhuhai on 24 September 2026. More than 300 robots are integrated into entertainment, education, visitor services, and hotel operations, supported by dedicated connectivity, multi robot coordination, and safety systems.

The launch coincided with delivery of AGIBOT 20,000th production robot to Chimelong. The companies also announced a joint research institute focused on embodied AI in culture and tourism. China Mobile is providing a park wide 5G Advanced network and edge compute for fleet coordination according to industry coverage of the announcement.

Use cases cited include live entertainment, educational experiences, visitor guidance, retail services, AI companionship, hotel services, and interactive sports. AGIBOT states robots handle gymnastics, tai chi, and table tennis alongside multi turn guest conversations and coordinated shows with human performers.

Why it matters

Tourism and hospitality buyers now have a reference deployment at triple digit robot count inside a single venue, not a staged demo hall. That shifts evaluation criteria from viral clips to uptime, guest safety, and coordination under peak attendance. For investors, linking the 20,000th unit milestone to a named customer site tests whether shipment leadership translates into recurring operational revenue.

The Chimelong deal also pairs embodied AI with telecom edge infrastructure, which matters for teams planning fleet scale deployments outside factory fences.

Who is affected

Hospitality and entertainment operators comparing pilot budgets against full park integrations.

Humanoid vendors competing on shipment volume and site level coordination stacks.

Telecom partners selling private 5G and edge compute for robot fleets.

What to do next

If you run a large venue pilot, request AGIBOT or Chimelong published uptime and intervention metrics for the first 90 days of operation before scaling beyond single digit robots.

What to watch

Whether the joint research institute publishes operating playbooks that other Chinese leisure operators adopt in 2027. Repeated copy deployments would confirm template economics rather than a one off showcase.
